Sukkari takes its name from the Arabic word for sugar, and Al-Qassim is the region it is best known for. Golden-amber and thin-skinned, it is soft and moist with a light, honeyed, caramel-like sweetness that melts in the mouth. Lovely on its own, or served with Arabic coffee or a cup of tea.
